Tak berselang lama, tepatnya setelah mereka tiba di sawah, dua orang tiba-tiba menghampiri dan disinyalir akan menculik mereka. Satu orang pelaku lain menunggu di mobil.

"Kalau perempuan yang memberitahu sekarang banyak penculik bukan warga desa ini, karena korban tidak mengenalinya. Bahkan, pelaku juga membawa pisau saat memegang anak saya, beruntung tidak berhasil menculik kedua anak tersebut," kata dia.

Hasilnya, polisi belum menemukan petunjuk signifikan karena dari hasil pemeriksaan saksi, banyak yang mengaku tidak tahu. Terlebih, pada waktu kejadian, para saksi juga tidak mendengar teriakan minta tolong dari kedua korban.
