Mereka semua menjadi salah satu korban gempa beberapa tahun yg lalu.

Setelah melalui perdebatan sengit, dengan sangat sedih dan duka yg mendalam, akhirnya Bu Rina pun menyerah pada keputusan suaminya untuk tetap bercerai.

Sambil menahan perasaan yg tidak menentu, suami istri itupun menyampaikan rencana perceraian tersebut kepada orang tuanya. Orang tuanya pun menentang keras, sangat tidak setuju, tapi tampaknya keputusan Pak Andre sudah bulat. Dia tetap akan menceraikan Bu Rina.

Setelah berdebat cukup lama dan alot, akhirnya dengan berat hati kedua orang tua itu menyetujui perceraian tersebut dengan satu syarat, yaitu agar perceraian itu juga diselenggarakan dalam sebuah pesta yg sama besar seperti besarnya pesta saat mereka menikah dulu.Karena tak ingin mengecewakan kedua orang tuanya, maka persyaratan itu pun disetujui.

Beberapa hari kemudian, pesta diselenggarakan. Saya berani sumpah bahwa itu adalah sebuah pesta yg sangat tidak membahagiakan bagi siapapun yg hadir. Pak Andre nampak tertekan, stres dan terus menenggak minuman beralkohol sampai mabuk dan sempoyongan. Sementara Bu Rina tampak terus melamun dan sesekali mengusap air mata nelangsa di pipinya.Di sela mabuknya itu tiba-tiba Pak Andre berdiri tegap dan berkata lantang,

"Istriku, saat kamu pergi nanti... ambil saja dan bawalah serta semua barang berharga atau apapun itu yg kamu suka dan kamu sayangi selama ini..!"
