Dikarenakan kendala dana yang mencapai jutaan Rupiah, akhirnya usus Yusa hingga sekarang tetap berada di luar tubuhnya.
Cerita bermula pada awal tahun 2016 lalu, Yusa sakit dan kedua orang tuanya memberikan obat tipus karena dia didiagnosa menderita penyakit tersebut.
Sayangnya, Yusa tidak juga kunjung sembuh dan justru perutnya terus membesar. Karena khawatir, akhirnya Rohaeti dan Dede Suherman membawa Yusa ke RS Cicalengka dan berganti ke RS Cikopo. Namun akhirnya dirujuk ke RS Hasan Sadikin (SSHS) Bandung. Saat itu, kondisi Yusa sudah dalam keadaan kritis.
Setelah berada di RSHS, pihak dokter menyatakan bahwa Yusa mengalami penyempitan usus dan harus dioperasi. Untuk memantau perkembangan usus dari bocah ini, dokter mengeluarkan ususnya dan membungkus dengan menggunakan plastik kalostomi.
Sayangnya, karena memang semua perawatan membutuhkan dana, biaya yang harus ditanggung Rohaeti dan Dede Suherman untuk membayar rumah sakit terus membengkak, sedangkan uang yang dimiliki mereka hanya Rp 2 juta saja. Akhirnya, sang ibunda Yusa memutuskan untuk membawa dan merawat anaknya di rumah.
“Tapi enggak bisa dibawa pulang karena harus ada uang Rp 6,5 juta. Anak saya ditahan seminggu sampai ayahnya nyari pinjaman ke sana ke mari,” ujar Rohaeti, seperti yang dikutip dari Kompas (11/10/2016).
Bahkan, jangankan untuk membayar pengobatan, untuk mereka gunakan makan sehari-hari saat berada di rumah sakit mendampingi sang buah hati saja, pasutri ini mengandalkan sumbangan dari saudara dan teman-teman mereka.
“Selama di rumah sakit, saya enggak bisa kerja, jadi enggak punya penghasilan sepeser pun. Untungnya banyak teman yang peduli pada kami,” lanjutnya.
Karena keterbatasan pengetahuan mengenai hal medis dan juga tentunya peralatan serta obat dan dana, akhirnya ketika plastik kolostomi tersebut sudah tidak dapat digunakan lagi, orang tua Yusa menggantinya dengan menggunakan plastik makanan.
Yusa sendiri adalah anak yang aktif dan ketika sedang bermain atau beraktivitas, ususnya membesar dan saat tidur, ususnya mengecil. Jika sakit, Yusa tidak pernah mengeluh, hanya saja dia berdiam diri dan meringis menahan sakit.
“Saya bersihkan tiga sampai empat kali sehari. Tergantung ada kotoran yang keluar. Kalau keluar darah, ayahnya memberikannya betadine,” ungkap Rohaeti.
Pernah Yusa mendapatkan bantuan sebesar Rp 5 juta dengan menggunakan Surat Keterangan Tidak Mampu (SKTM), namun ketika mengajukan untuk kali ketiganya, dia ditolak oleh dinkes karena limitnya habis. Setelah itu, Rohaeti juga pernah mengajukan BPJS PBI, sayangnya, belum ada tanggapan dari pihak yang bersangkutan.
Memang Tuhan tidak pernah tidur dan selalu memperhatikan apa yang menjadikan makhluknya gundah gulana, ketika berita mengenai Yusa merebak dan diberitakan banyak pihak, bantuan demi bantuan berduyun-duyun berdatangan.
Mulai dari perusahaan Taxi Bluebird, Amanda sampai dengan Bupati Purwakarta Dedi Mulyadi. Bahkan, Dinas Kesehatan pun juga mengirimkan mobil ambulance untuk membawa Yusa kembali ek RSHS ditemani dengan kedua orang tuanya dan ketua RT serta petugas desa.
“Karena sudah terlalu lama, anak saya tidak bisa langsung ditindak. Tapi harus melalui prosedur dari awal lagi seperti pemeriksaan lab, dan lainnya. Semua salah saya. Salah saya tidak punya uang,” ujar sang ayah, Dede.
Walaupun sudah ada bantuan langsung dari Pemkab Bandung, akan tetapi sampai sekarang belum ada kejelasan mengenai pengobatan Yusa selanjutnya karena petugas Dinkes sendiri mengatakan bahwa pembiayaan dikembalikan ke BPJS.
“Saya tidak tahu BPJS mandiri atau tidak. Tapi kalau BPJS mandiri, terus terang kami tak sanggup untuk membayar iurannya,” jelas Rohaeti.
